Are customs duties included in the price?
For France and the European Union, the price displayed includes the applicable VAT and no customs duties apply (intra-EU delivery).
For destinations outside the European Union, the price displayed on the product page is an indicative currency conversion. The actual customs duties and import taxes are calculated and displayed separately at checkout, depending on your destination country. You pay this amount in a single payment with your order: we then pay it to the carrier (DDP — Delivered Duty Paid), so you will receive no additional invoice on delivery.
How long before I receive my order?
Orders are prepared and shipped within 1 to 3 business days from our workshop in Aix-en-Provence. You receive an email with your tracking number as soon as your order ships.
Estimated transit times after shipment: next day before 1 pm with Chrono 13 (France), 1 to 2 days with Chronopost express and pickup point, 2 to 4 days with Chronopost Classic (European Union), 3 to 5 days with DHL Express internationally.

Products & craftsmanship
Where are LESCA glasses made?
All LESCA frames are designed and assembled by hand in our workshop in Aix-en-Provence (Les Milles, 13290). The acetates come from materials selected for their quality and durability.
Do you fit prescription lenses?
No, but we offer made-to-measure fitting of sun lenses, chosen from our range of organic, mineral or polarised lenses.
For prescription lenses, feel free to contact us at eshop@lescalunetier.com — we will recommend partner opticians in your city or country.
How do I choose my frame?
A few simple rules to find the LESCA frame that perfectly suits your face. → See our full guide
For sizing: each product page states the lens width, bridge width and temple length. If you already own glasses, compare these measurements to estimate your size. If in doubt, write to us at eshop@lescalunetier.com — we will be happy to advise you.
How do I care for my LESCA glasses?
Cellulose acetate frames
Adjustment: acetate is sensitive to heat (it softens) and cold (it hardens). Have your glasses adjusted every 6 months by an optician — it is free and takes 2 minutes with a frame warmer. Over time, salt and sun can dull the acetate; a good optician can polish it back to an as-new finish.
Screws and temples: regularly tighten the hinge screws with the small screwdriver provided in your case. If your temples close on their own when you handle your glasses, it is a sign you need to act before losing a screw.
Cleaning the lenses: always use the microfibre cloth provided — a tea towel or T-shirt can scratch surface coatings. If the lenses are very greasy (summer perspiration), soak the glasses for a few minutes in lukewarm water with a drop of washing-up liquid, then wipe and leave to dry.
Warranty & after-sales
What warranty do LESCA glasses come with?
— 1-year commercial warranty against manufacturing defects.
— 2-year legal guarantee of conformity (article L.217-3 of the French Consumer Code).
— Guarantee against hidden defects (article 1641 of the French Civil Code).
My product is defective — what should I do?
Contact our after-sales service with your proof of purchase and a photo of the defect:
We will offer you a suitable solution (repair, replacement) as quickly as possible.
Account & personal data
Do I have to create an account to order?
No, you can order as a guest without creating an account. However, an account lets you track your orders, view your history and start a return more easily.
How do I exercise my right of withdrawal online?
In accordance with European Directive 2023/2673 (in force since 19/06/2026), LESCA provides an online withdrawal function:
