OUR SAVOIR-FAIRE

Since 1964, Lesca has collaborated with skilled artisans across Europe, particularly in France and Germany. Drawing from traditional handmade techniques, each LESCA frame is riveted and shaped with the utmost attention to a strict set of specifications.

Rejecting mass production methods, Lesca has chosen to develop its collections in small, human-scale workshops and factories, offering limited series that honor craftsmanship and authenticity.

NOTRE SAVOIR-FAIRE

INSPIRATIONS

In the 1950s and 60s, Lesca witnessed a creative revolution that swept through design, fashion, architecture—and eyewear. It was a time when bold ideas met groundbreaking industrial techniques, from the invention of cellulose acetate to the rise of modern eyewear manufacturing in France.

Rooted in that era, Lesca has always embraced a confident, expressive style. Our frames draw on the strength of generous proportions and sculpted acetate—an aesthetic famously worn by visionaries like Le Corbusier.

Today, the second generation—Mathieu and Bertrand—carry this legacy forward. With respect for the brand’s DNA and a constant desire to innovate, they bring past collections to life, bridging heritage with creativity and modernity.

OUR INSPIRATIONS

In the 1950s and 60s, Lesca stood at the crossroads of a creative revolution—an era that redefined design, fashion, and architecture. It was also the dawn of a new industrial age, marked by the invention of cellulose acetate and the rise of modern eyewear factories in France.

From the very beginning, Lesca embraced a bold, expressive style rooted in this pivotal time. Our signature thick frames are a tribute to the material itself—an aesthetic famously worn by creative pioneers like Le Corbusier.

Today, the second generation—Mathieu and Bertrand—carry this legacy forward. With a deep respect for Lesca’s heritage, they revive historic collections while continuously pushing the boundaries of creativity and modernity.
