Every pair comes with a set of objects designed as a ritual. A handcrafted hard case, a cleaning cloth, a care guide.

About this model
Originally, the double bridge had no aesthetic purpose at all: it was a pure piece of mechanical engineering, a response to the demands of structural strength.
Its story goes back to the 1930s and the rise of military aviation and utility optics. Faced with turbulence, rough handling and temperature changes in the cockpit, designers had to stiffen very thin metal fronts and oversized lenses (the "teardrop" shape known as aviator). A single bridge welded at the nose created a critical bending point subject to shear.
On ROCK, this architecture becomes a style signature. The frame takes up the pilot silhouette and its double bridge, crafted in acetate in a seventies spirit: a bold, generous line for a look full of character, in town or in the sun.

Acetate frame
LESCA has been buying and preserving old acetate materials for years and reworks them into exclusive color combinations through bonding.
This limited-series work showcases the expertise of its historic partners based in Oyonnax in the Jura.

Lens customisation
At LESCA Lunetier, our quest for excellence goes beyond the frame. We attach paramount importance to our mineral lenses in exclusive colors, designed to perfect our frames.
Just as we hunt for upcycled acetate, we relentlessly seek out the lens colors that inspire us. Our quest led us to the Fukui valley in Japan, the cradle of eyewear craftsmanship.
There, talented glassmakers, far from mass industry, make our lenses. Some are available in a flat polarized version for a refined style and optimal comfort.
